GRIMEY WEAR WAS FOUNDED IN THE YEAR 2006 ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF MADRID ( SPAIN) . IT STARTED WITH A 8 T–SHIRTS SAMPLER, ALL OF THEM DESIGNED AND PRINTED BY THE CO-FOUNDERS OF THE BRAND IN A SMALL BASEMENT OF 20 SQ METERS BIG. THE FIRST COLLECTION (SPRING/SUMMER 2007) CONSISTED OF ONLY 12 T-SHIRTS. DUE TO THE BIG SUCCESS OF ITS DESIGNS THE BRAND STARTED EXPANDING THROUGH SPAIN. THAT MADE POSSIBLE TO KEEP GROWING AND IMPROVING CONSIDERABLY FOR THE NEXT CATALOG (FALL/WINTER 2007), INCLUDING TRACK JACKETS AND HOODIES. BY THAT TIME SALES INCREASED REMARKABLY AND THE NEXT SEASON (SPRING/SUMMER 2008) ADDED ALL TYPE OF GARMENTS, INCLUDING JEANS AND POLO SHIRTS. SALES OF THAT YEAR FALL/WINTER CATALOG DOUBLED DIGITS AGAIN AND GRIMEY WEAR DEFINETLY CONSOLIDATED AS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT URBAN CLOTHING BRANDS IN SPAIN

GRIMEY OFFERS SOMETHING INNOVATIVE, NOT TOO SIMPLY , NOT TOO SOFISTICATED, COVERING A HUGE RANGE OF DESIGNS WITHOUT LOOSING OUR IDENTITY, ALWAYS MAKING USE OF SIGNIFICATIVE SLOGAN MESSAGES, SPECIALLY IN ALL OUR T-SHIRTS.

WE ARE PEOPLE WHO HAVE LIVED THE STREET CULTURE SINCE THE EARLY 80´S. ITS CREATION AND DEVELOPMENT HAS BEEN THE SAME AS ANY PRODUCT BUILT IN THE STREET, WITHOUT RESOURCES BUT WITH A LOT OF HEART AND EFFORT.
